Ahmed Maher, MD
Psychiatrist
Dr. Maher is a board certified psychiatrist who is licensed to practice in the states of Missouri, Kansas and Colorado. He earned his doctorate in medicine from the University of Alexandria Faculty of Medicine, in Alexandria, Egypt. He then completed his residency in psychiatry at Truman Medical Centers with the University of Missouri – Kansas City, where he also served as the chief resident. He then completed a fellowship in medical genetics and metabolism at Children’s Hospital Colorado with the University of Colorado – Denver.
Dr. Maher has been practicing psychiatry since 2010. He currently holds a faculty position at the University of Kansas Medical Center Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, and specializes in child psychiatry with a special focus on family dynamics for the improvement of pediatric mental health. He serves patients of all ages at our Olathe Clinic.
