Ms. Ponce is licensed in the state of Kansas as a Licenses Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW). She earned a Master of Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis, Mo., and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Rochester in Rochester, N.Y.
Ms. Ponce has been practicing since 2007 and specializes in many areas including Trauma-Informed Care, Culturally Effective Care, Solution-focused care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Hypnosis, Applied Behavioral Therapy, Grief and Loss and is zero-suicide trained.
She is fluent in both Spanish and English and works with patients of all ages. She also serves as the Behavioral Health Specialist for the High-Risk Diabetes Clinic at the Olathe Clinic.
