Ms. Ponce is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) in Kansas with more than 12 years of experience providing mental health services. She earned a Master of Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis, Mo., and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Rochester in Rochester, N.Y.

Ms. Ponce has been practicing since 2007 and specializes in many areas including Trauma-Informed Care, Culturally Effective Care, Solution-focused care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Hypnosis, Applied Behavioral Therapy, Grief and Loss and is zero-suicide trained.

She also works as an adjunct professor at the University of Kansas School of Social Welfare, a therapist at the University of Kansas Strawberry Hill Campus and an Item Writer for the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Clinical Exam.
She is fluent in both Spanish and English and works with patients of all ages. She also serves as the Behavioral Health Clinician for the High-Risk Diabetes Clinic at the Olathe Clinic.
