“I like working with underserved populations and want to give them the best care that I possibly can.”

Eva Clark, MSN, APRN, WHNP-BC, brings more than 10 years of obstetrical and gynecological (OB-GYN) care to her new role at Healthcare Partnership Clinic.

Though she considered a nursing career in high school, Eva completed a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration — and then a master’s in accounting and information systems — at the University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kan. She then worked at prestigious business management, transportation and technology firms. But what she learned most from those experiences was that her long-term calling was for more of a people and care-centered career. Accordingly, she enrolled at Kansas City’s Research College of Nursing and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2012.

With an immediate transition to full-time work at Research Medical Center, Eva solidified her passion for obstetrics by caring for patients throughout labor, delivery and post-partum. Though typically a joyful time for many patients and families, Eva’s work included caring for mothers and newborns considered to be high-risk due to inadequate care during pregnancy or who were otherwise medically underserved.

Inspired by the resulting patient relationships, she aspired to be a competent and caring provider of women’s health services to better meet the needs of women throughout their lifespan. Through Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pa., she earned a Master of Science in Nursing and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner designation in 2018. Her training included nearly 650 clinical hours and the tutelage of multiple professional providers at Midwest Women’s Healthcare Specialists in Kansas City.

Along with treating women throughout their healthcare journey, Eva looks forward to renewing her focus on helping her community’s underserved population on more of an ongoing basis instead of short-term hospital stays. She highly values relationship building, and with a passion for education and service, believes she can help deliver improved patient care and outcomes.

Eva has three children – sons, ages 11 and 1, and a daughter, 5. She loves travel, especially beach vacations, cooking, baking and reading. She sees women of all ages at our Olathe clinic.
