Hibba A. Haider, MD

Dr. Haider has been a practicing physician since 1997. She graduated from Fatima Jinnah Medical College for Women in Lahore, Pakistan. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and Kansas Pediatric Foundation.
Dr. Haider is experienced in providing sensitive care to children in foster care and to children with manageable behavioral health needs. She takes care of common acute care needs and common pediatric and adolescent illnesses, including asthma and childhood infections. She sees children needing management for ADHD and does well-child checks and sports physicals. She also guides children regarding weight management. A native of Pakistan, Dr. Haider is aware of a broad range of cultural sensitivities, including the customs, traditions and parenting issues that need to be addressed in these populations. She speaks fluent English, Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi.
She cares for children of all ages, from newborn through 18, at our Shawnee Mission Clinic.
