Registered Dental Hygienist

“I am so happy to be part of an amazing HPC dental team that works together for the specialized care of its patients.”

Still relatively new to Olathe, Rowena “Row” Arensman brings decades of experience in joining Health Partnership Clinic as a dental hygienist at our Olathe clinic. Having recently worked nearby at Arbor Creek Dental, she earlier served three generations of patients over more than 25 years at a Salina, Kan. practice.

Growing up in central Kansas, dentistry proved to be a “best of all worlds” career choice for Row. Not only did she maintain the family tradition of working in health care—her mother and grandmother were nurses—she left behind the 24×7 responsibilities of the family farm, where cattle were raised and various crops were harvested.

Attending to patients’ needs for cleanings, oral hygiene education or procedures has kept Row connected to dentistry.  “I start by asking about any current pain or discomfort and getting them comfortable. We can spend an entire appointment finding and implementing the best care for them,” said Row, who’s often praised for her confident and relaxed manner.

Not one to be idle, Row and her husband work at Kansas Speedway, where he provides security services for the annual NASCAR and American Royal World Series of Barbecue® events while she manages the media center, balancing the needs of drivers and journalists. Additionally, Row is a member of American Legion Post 153, under the Women’s Auxiliary and the Olathe Noon Optimist Club, of which HPC is an active member.

Row graduated from Wichita State University, Wichita, Kan., with a dental hygiene degree and attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Kansas City, Mo., for local anesthetic training. She and her husband moved to Olathe in 2022 to be closer to family; they still manage the family farm from afar. She serves people of all ages in our Olathe Clinic.
