Thao LeThao Le, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

“I’m driven by my passion for making a difference in patients’ lives.”

Becoming Health Partnership Clinic’s first psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner is an important milestone for both the clinic and Thao Le, who passed her board exams in June. At Health Partnership, she’ll collaborate with the clinic’s behavioral health specialists to understand patients’ needs and then prescribe medications to help them manage or overcome their depression, anxiety, trauma or other disorders.

Thao’s immediate goal is to get to the root of a patient’s problem and to alleviate their symptoms through medication management and therapeutic support. She uses a patient-centered approach, allowing them enough autonomy to help make decisions about their care. Her determination to move her patients forward was inspired by her parents, who immigrated from Vietnam in 1975 to make a better life for themselves and their family.

Born in Liberal, Kan., Thao earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing at Newman University in Wichita. She received a Master of Science in nursing from Maryville University, St. Louis, Mo., and relocated to Overland Park in 2020. She has experience in medication assisted treatments for patients in addiction recovery.

Thao joins a talented team of HPC medical professionals dedicated to providing high quality, affordable, accessible and culturally appropriate care to all individuals regardless of their ability to pay. She sees patients at our Olathe Clinic.
