Our school-based health clinic provides medical, behavioral health and dental services to all Shawnee Mission School District students and their siblings, three to 20 years old, on Mondays from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
In person or virtual appointments are available, and walk-ins are accommodated, if the schedule permits.

Services are available to new and established patients. We also offer free Medicaid and Marketplace insurance enrollment.

Fees
The clinic accepts KanCare/Medicaid, commercial insurance and uninsured patients. A sliding fee program is available to those who qualify based on income and household size. Students will be expected to pay a copay.

Prepare for your visit
What to bring to your appointment:
- Driver’s license or Picture ID card
- Insurance card (if insured)
- Copay – we accept credit, debit, cash or check
- Immunization records, if available
- Medication list
Don’t forget:
- At the time of the visit, verbal consent from the parent or guardian is required to receive our services if you are 17 or younger.
- Be on time if you have an appointment, or it may be rescheduled.
- If you need to cancel an appointment, do so at least 24 hours in advance.
- Bring a book or other activity to keep you busy, in case you must wait.
- If you are not feeling ill, eat something before you arrive. Eating and drinking are not allowed in the clinic.
