On Wednesday, April 22, 2026, nearly 175 community members gathered for Health Partnership Clinic’s annual Opening Doors Luncheon—our signature fundraising event supporting care for uninsured children and adults across Johnson, Miami and Franklin counties.
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, donors and attendees, the event raised more than $102,000 to advance access to high-quality, affordable healthcare.
A Milestone Moment: Fund-a-Need Success
New this year, our Fund-a-Need initiative focused on expanding women’s health services—and the response was extraordinary.
Together, supporters helped us exceed our goal, ensuring the clinic can purchase LEEP equipment, a critical tool used to treat precancerous cervical cells and help prevent cervical cancer.
This investment means:
- Faster, on-site treatment for patients
- Reduced need for costly outside referrals
- Increased access to life-saving preventive care for uninsured women
The impact is immediate—and lasting.

- Wy Jo Care with the Founders Award for its critical role in coordinating specialty care for uninsured patients—helping connect individuals to services that would otherwise be out of reach.
- Burnis Lance with the Leadership Impact Award in recognition of her long-standing service, leadership and commitment to advancing the mission of Health Partnership Clinic.
