HPC Prenatal Care Services

Healthy moms and healthy babies are our priority!

At Health Partnership Clinic, we offer prenatal services to moms-to-be from the very first pregnancy test through pregnancy and postpartum at our Olathe site.

Our goal is to support you and to ensure a healthy pregnancy and birth. Our staff use a holistic approach to attend to your needs including behavioral health, dental and wraparound services.

Health Partnership provides prenatal care in partnership with Kansas City Women’s Clinic, an HCA Midwest Health practice. Appointments are scheduled on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month. Our dedicated care team of highly skilled and caring physicians and nurse practitioners will guide and coordinate your labor and delivery at Overlank Regional Medical Center in Overland Park, Kan.

We also offer a range of health education and services, including family planning.

After delivery we will coordinate postpartum and well-baby care for you. You may access our pediatric care at our Olathe or Shawnee Mission clinics.

Our patients are screened for various risk factors, and any potential problems are identified. Our providers work in conjunction with high-risk pregnancy specialists to co-manage high-risk pregnancies.

Questions and AnswersQuestions and Answers

We support moms-to-be and their families before, during and after birth. Here are some questions you may have. Please reach out to a member of our staff with additional questions, guidance or clarification.

We provide comprehensive, quality health care that is affordable and accessible. Our approach to your pregnancy focuses on positive birth outcomes for women and their babies as well as assessments of medical and social needs, care plan development, care coordinator, health education and connections to services in the community. We can refer patients to Community Health Workers to further support you and your family.

Prenatal care is vital for both the mother and the baby. Prenatal specialists make sure that both you and baby are getting enough vitamins and proper nutrition. We also make sure your baby is growing at a normal rate and is positioned correctly as the due date draws near.

A range of services are offered during each visit. These include:

  • Physical exam
  • Samples of blood and urine
  • A complete view of your medical history
  • Answers to your questions
  • Estimation for your due date.

You may also see a member of our Behavioral Health and/or Dental team.

If you are coming to Health Partnership for the first time, we will need your medical insurance or Medicaid (KanCare) card (if you have one), photo identification (driver’s license or picture ID card), proof of address if different than identification, proof of income (pay stubs, federal income tax return), copay (cash, credit, debit, check) as well as a detailed list of all your current medications.

Currently, prenatal care is only offered at our Olathe site, 407 S. Clairborne Rd., Olathe, Kan.

Appropriate dental care is very important during pregnancy and can prevent preterm labor. At Health Partnership, our Dental team will provide exam, xrays and cleaning depending on individual treatment needs.

Thanks to a partnership with Community Health Council, we can refer patients to a maternity community health worker. This person can sign you up for health insurance, set goals for a healthy lifestyle and provide parenting education for the baby’s mother and father and referral and resource information for breastfeeding support, nutrition counseling, food/housing assistance and job training programs.

Health Partnership coordinates care for labor and delivery, major surgical procedures and other medical needs beyond our scope of practice. Your care team will work directly with you to identify the best place to receive this care.
