Founders Award
Tierney Grasser, past chairperson of Health Partnership Clinic’s Board of Directors and a dedicated volunteer board member since 2006, received the Founders Award. Tierney has been a driving force in the clinic’s success. Before retiring in 2019, she served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Olathe Health, bringing extensive expertise in healthcare finance and operations.
A Baker University graduate with a degree in Accounting, she became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 1983 and was named CFO of the Year in 2015 by the Kansas City Business Journal. With over 30 years of experience, Tierney’s leadership has been instrumental in financial planning, risk management and quality initiatives. Committed to high ethical standards, fairness and honesty, Tierney has played a key role in shaping the clinic’s future. Her perspective on healthcare is deeply personal—after surviving a life-threatening illness, she understands the value of life.
Beyond the clinic, Tierney enjoys family, traveling and lifelong learning. She thrives on challenges and continues to serve on several not-for-profit boards, extending her impact on the community.
We thank Tierney for her steady leadership and unwavering dedication to Health Partnership. Her collaborative spirit and relentless commitment have left a profound and lasting impact on the health and well-being of the communities we serve.
