WHY WE WALK
We invite you to join our fun fundraising walk on Saturday, January 25, 2025. The Snowflake Streak features a walk on the scenic Stagecoach Park Loop at the Olathe Community Center, fun activities and breakfast.
Check in is from 7:45 a.m. to 8:15 a.m., program starts at 8:15 a.m., and walk begins at 8:30 a.m.
As a walker or team captain, your Snowflake Streak experience includes a personalized fundraising page to share with friends and family, fundraising tips and tools, individual incentives, team prizes and more.
The event is suitable for all ages—bring the whole family and help support your neighbors!
The Snowflake Streak, our first fundraising walk, brings together caring individuals, families and area businesses who want to help neighbors who are struggling physically, mentally and financially.
The Snowflake Streak raises money to help keep low income and uninsured children and adults healthy and well in our community.
It is also a fun and meaningful way to give back and to learn more about Health Partnership Clinic’s mission of providing quality, affordable and accessible medical, dental and behavioral health care.
The clinic serves Johnson, Miami and Franklin Counties.
WHAT:
Health Partnership Clinic is hosting the Snowflake Streak, which is a less than a mile fun walk on the coldest day of the year, to raise funds for those who are low income and uninsured and awareness about the clinic’s services.
WHEN?
Saturday, January 25, 2025. Check-in 7:45 a.m. to 8:15 a.m., Program starts at 8:15 a.m., Walk begins at 8:30 a.m.
WHERE?
Olathe Community Center/Stagecoach Park: 1205 E Kansas City Rd, Olathe, Kan. 66061. It’s a perfect location with a 0.97 mile walking trail loop on asphalt along with a wonderful facility to hold pre and post walk event activities.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Your Company, school, civic or church groups and family.
HOW IT WORKS?
You can walk as an individual, become a team captain and recruit others to be on your team, or you can join a team. There are individual incentives and team prizes, activities, breakfast after the walk, including a hot chocolate and coffee bar. Sponsorships will also be secured to underwrite the event costs.
THE GOAL?
To raise $50,000 for Health Partnership Clinic. Best of all, we will showcase area sponsors and connect in a fun and active way with the community—all for a great cause.
WHY?
More than 50 percent of HPC’s patients, including children, are uninsured. This fundraiser will help provide quality, accessible and affordable health care as well as supportive connections to social services.
