For 20 years, Dr. Kreisler has been providing high quality, personalized health care for all children. An active and working mother and stepmother of four children, Dr. Kreisler knows the importance of getting an appointment quickly when your child is feeling sick or the frantic need of scheduling that annual back-to-school physical.

Here at Health Partnership Clinic in Shawnee Mission, we are ready to serve you! Our team includes two board-certified pediatricians, which are medical practitioners specializing in children and their diseases. In addition, a friendly and responsive support staff ensures a full array of services from medical, dental and behavioral health are available when you need it.

Dr. Kreisler and her colleague, Dr. Cheri El-Halawany, are both dynamic and caring physicians and bring an extraordinary dedication and expertise to guiding healthy development.

About Dr. Kreisler

Dr. Kelly D. KreislerIn practice since 2003, Dr. Kreisler earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy at West Virginia University Hospital and a Doctor of Medicine from West Virginia University School of Medicine where she also completed her general pediatrics internship and residency. She holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Kansas Medical Center and completed two years of clinical fellowship in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics.

Dr. Kreisler came to the Midwest in 2003 from her native West Virginia to serve as an Attending Physician at Children’s Mercy – Kansas City and has since gained extensive teaching experience. Beginning in 2010, she has served as Assistant Professor, Clinical Assistant Professor and Clinical Associate Professor in Pediatrics at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

Her management experience includes serving as Chief Medical Officer at Vibrant Health in Kansas City—a Federally Qualified Health Center, like HPC—and as Medical Director for the WellSense Health Plan of Boston Medical Center, as well as Medical Director for Reach Out and Read Kansas City.

Dr. Kreisler recently returned to HPC as Chief Health Officer (CHO), having previously served as Chief Medical Officer from 2013-2014. She brings years of proven experience in quality improvement, team leadership and strategic growth and a desire to elevate HPC’s performance and enhance its role in the community. She is a board-certified pediatrician and President-elect for the Kansas Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Kreisler and her family reside in Overland Park, Kan. She and her husband have four children and two puppies. They love being outdoors, where camping, hiking and biking are family-favorite activities.
