Clinic Director and Risk/Compliance Officer

Mindy Beckwith, BSN, MSN, RN, joins Health Partnership Clinic (HPC) as clinic director and risk/compliance officer, having served in related roles at Oracle Cerner and earlier, at nonprofit and Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) located in the Midwest and East Coast regions.

At HPC, her responsibilities include managing clinical functions and immediate supervision of nurses and medical assistants to assure conformance with established standards of care. She also is a key participant in HPC’s Total Quality Management approach to risk mitigation, compliance, quality improvement and patient satisfaction.

Ms. Beckwith’s priority is to achieve and maintain a fully-staffed clinic to get the community’s patients the care that they need. It’s a different mindset from the corporate world that she welcomes. “Our people are here for the greater good, where we can come to work as a team to make a difference, and to enjoy what we’re doing,” she says.

Ms. Beckwith’s recent years working as a regulatory strategist for clinics embedded in manufacturing facilities nationwide have prepared her for the HPC clinic director role. Even working remotely, she helped client facilities meet city, state and federal requirements, from providing the services they offer to the facilities’ safety. The same will hold true at HPC, where clinical compliance oversight is required to meet care ordinances that can differ by state and must meet federal regulatory requirements for safe operations in the areas of environmental safety, hygiene and disposition of medical waste.

Raised in Quincy, Ill., Ms. Beckwith earned an associate degree in nursing from John Wood Community College in Quincy while raising three children younger than five years old. She later earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Addison, Ill.

In health care since 2005, she is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honors Society and serves as a Nationwide Mentor of the American Nurses Association.

Now residing in Lake Waukomis, Mo., Ms. Beckwith enjoys reading, the outdoors and being with her family.
