Darren Odum has worked in health care for 30 years. He is the Chief Operating Officer at Newman Regional Health, where he is the executive over the employed physician group and the ambulatory departments of the system.
He also served at Olathe Health System as the Vice President of Business Development and Physician Engagement. Before his tenure at Olathe Health, Mr. Odum worked in several different capacities, including physician relations, outpatient services, and sports medicine.
Mr. Odum is actively involved in his community. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of KidsTLC and the Olathe Mayor’s Children’s Board. He has also served on the Board of Directors for the Good Samaritan Society of Olathe, Olathe Public Schools Foundation, Olathe Latino Coalition and Olathe YMCA.
Mr. Odum received his undergraduate degree from Washburn University in Topeka, Kan., and his graduate degree from the University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kan. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Mr. Odum joined the Health Partnership Clinic Board of Directors in 2020 and resides in Overland Park, Kan.
