Kevan Acord is an attorney, licensed in the states of Kansas and Missouri, and a certified public accountant, licensed in the state of Kansas. He is the principal shareholder of BridgeBuilder Tax + Legal Services, P.A., a law firm focused on business, estate planning and tax law.
Mr. Acord serves as the tax advisor for the largest dairy cooperative in the United States. He also provides a variety of business and tax consulting services to closely held businesses and high net worth individuals. Prior to entering into private practice in 1992, Mr. Acord was employed by two national accounting firms.
He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration, summa cum laude, and a juris doctorate, cum laude, from Washburn University in Topeka, Kan. Mr. Acord is a member of the American Bar Association, Kansas Bar Association, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants, National Society of Accountants for Cooperatives, and the Legal, Tax and Accounting Committee of the National Council of Farmers Cooperatives.
Mr. Acord joined the Health Partnership Clinic Board of Directors in 2017.
