How did you get into your field of work?

I am a Social Worker and have worked with marginalized and disenfranchised youth and families for over 20 years. I am passionate about and committed to making the world a better place.

Do you speak any other languages? If yes, which ones?

No, not fluently.

Do you have a favorite quote? If yes, what is it?

I value unconditional positive regard, compassion and respect for others.

What is something about you that would surprise people?

I was Made in Japan and I have an identical twin.

What is on your “bucket” list?

Visit all 7 continents, learn to play the piano, take photos for National Geographic, and go watch the Olympics someday!
