How long have you worked at HPC?  

I have been at HPC for a couple of months.

How did you get into your field of work?

I’ve always wanted to be an equitable representative of my Hispanic/Latinx community through public health advocacy.

Do you speak any other languages? If yes, which ones?

I speak Spanish and English.

Do you have a favorite quote? If yes, what is it?

I adopted my favorite quote from a former boss of mine. She is the best. “If you cannot find the sunshine, be the sunshine.” I am forever thankful for Dr. Daphne Bascom.

What values are important to you?

Values that are important to me are integrity, compassion, creativity, communication and discipline.

What is something about you that would surprise people?

Those who do not know me well may be surprised that I am actually super extroverted.

What is on your “bucket” list?

I would love to attend a World Cup Final with the Mexican National Team as a finalist.

What is your favorite food?

My favorite food is anything that my mom and grandma make.

What is your favorite movie?

My favorite movie of all time?! Probably “Dead Poets Society”

What is your favorite hobby?

My favorite hobby is soccer and painting is a close second.

Are you an animal lover?  If yes, how many pets do you have and what kind are they?

I love dogs, though I currently do not have any.
