How long have you worked at HPC?

I have worked at HPC for almost one month.

How did you get into your field of work?

First, I stumbled across the posting on Indeed and it was a perfect fit with my values and field of study. Second, during my phone interview, Billie was very sincere and energetic about the position.

Do you speak any other languages? If yes, which ones?

Yes, I am fluent in Spanish and hope to learn more languages in the future.

Do you have a favorite quote? If yes, what is it?

What values are important to you?

Authenticity, empathy, integrity, compassion and impact.

What is something about you that would surprise people?

I love karaoke.

What is on your “bucket” list?

One thing I would like to do is visit all the countries from my favorite cuisines: Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Korea, Philippines, Japan and India.

What is your favorite food?

As a food explorer, it’s almost impossible to answer this question. But, my favorite Vietnam dishes are Bun Rieu, Bun Thit Nuong, and Bahn Mi sandwiches.

What is your favorite movie?

“Everything, Everywhere, All at Once”

What is your favorite hobby?

I enjoy anime, table tennis and gaming.

Are you an animal lover?  If yes, how many pets do you have and what kind are they?

I love pets! I am allergic to cats, but my partner and I have two – Megami (four-year-old Tuxedo) and Muffin (2-year-old Tabby).
