Rebecca Turner, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER
“I’m passionate about being a primary care provider for an underserved patient population, and I always strive to make a connection with my patients.”
Rebecca Turner, MSN, APRN, FNP-C earned her Bachelor of Science degree by completing the four-year nursing program at Truman State University in Kirksville, Mo. She later earned a Master of Science — during the pandemic! — from Marysville University in St. Louis. Her clinical studies included three rotations at Health Partnership Clinic’s Olathe and Shawnee Mission locations. She holds Kansas and Missouri nursing licenses.
Since earning her bachelor’s in 2015, Rebecca has worked at Truman Medical Center, first on the medical surgery unit at the Lakewood location in Lee’s Summit, and then for five years in the emergency room at the Health Science District in Kansas City, Mo. Besides treating trauma patients, she trained as a charge nurse, assisted capstone-level students and guided new nursing school graduates.
Rebecca is excited to join Health Partnership Clinic (HPC) full time because of what she repeatedly saw and experienced in her HPC clinicals: the respect the staff had for each other and their willingness to help patients, making sure they got exactly what they needed.
A world traveler and Big Brothers Big Sisters volunteer, Rebecca provides pediatric care and women’s health services to patients at our Olathe Clinic.
