During the annual holiday celebration on Dec. 5, Joe Clark, PA-C, and Andrea Madrigal, MA, were named Employees of the Year. Joe and Andrea were each presented with an award.
Joe is board certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants. He received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Methodist College in Omaha, Neb., and a Physician Assistant certification from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND.
Joe has been practicing as a nurse since 1994 and as a physician assistant since 2001. He has worked in the fields of general surgery, trauma, critical care and family medicine and performs a variety of minor surgical procedures at HPC.
Joe has been a valuable part the team since starting in February of 2016. “He has not hesitated to add patients to his schedule when needed, and our patients appreciate that,” says Amy Falk, CEO.
Andrea joined HPC in October of 2016. “Andrea is always willing to help any of her coworkers with a big smile,” Amy adds. “She demonstrates a positive attitude, is dependable and goes above and beyond for her patients with no hesitation.”
According to Wael Mourad, MD, Chief Health Officer, Joe Clark is one of the best physician assistants he has ever worked with. “He is kind, compassionate and an excellent clinician who deeply cares about maintaining his skills and his patients. I am so proud to call him a colleague.”
“If you have to think of one person that personifies why HPC exists, it is Andrea,” Dr. Mourad adds. “For our patients, it is all about access and getting them what they need. That is exactly what Andrea does day in and day out. I am so happy that she is a part of the HPC team!”
Joe and Andrea work together each day and they make a great team! Thank you, Joe and Andrea, for all that you do for HPC.
